My fear tactic is twofold. Either get up on the wall (She may fear you off, but it'll take a while) or stand at the base of the wall and when she goes to fear (Shaking ground) turn and face the wall. She almost always fears me straight forward, thus straight into a wall. Or right along the wall, avoiding almost all the lava.
YMMV on that tactic, though.
