Your argument (and mine as well) is that they never had that "right" in the first place. And it's not a right. Nor, for that matter, is it even a privelege unless so given by the original author.

Never does anyone have a right to "duplicate" another's work, before, during, or after purchase. But, you already knew this. Just pointing out a little word error. :)
