Vivendi has been reported to have talked to a number of companies about selling, amongst other things, their game interests. That's been going on for about a year or more now. So far they've been trying for a package deal and there's been no takers.
Maybe they'll break it up fine and sell it for bargain prices. Then Mikey (remember Mikey? ;) ) will finally be able to buy Buzzard. Right.
Champagne or knot? Depends who, if anyone, buys what. As you said, time will tell.
