The crits are great, but it is somewhat disappointing to get a crit and still be under 1k, thus the +damage. As I get better equipment (if I get better equipment?), I would hope to up the +damage without losing any of the +crit. Lochnar's build is focused on getting the crits, specifically freezing the baddie and then having the extra crit chance proc while they are frozen.
