Help with turning spells into self spells

I use Telo's Alt Self Cast mod available here:

I don't, and Alt + # works for self-cast for me. I don't think you need it for that functionality, though it doesn't work for my upper row of buttons which I have bound to shift-1, shift-2, etc. Apparently you can't hit alt and shift on the same spell.
