Alternatively, you could take a look at http://www.linux-laptop.net/ if you don't plan on doing much gaming. Using Linux and Open Office you can save quite a bit, and, funnily enough, Intel integrated graphics chips have excellent open source drivers.

Thanks for the suggestion, but
1. The stuff has been ordered
2. I am not fond of Linux. I have used it at work and installed it once at home. I suppose I would feel differently if I knew more, but I don't want to invest the time.
3. I agree that Open Office is a nice program. Definitely an excellent alternative to MS Office.
