I have only seen the 3 attempts at a casino running in the Ironforge Bank-Auction House area. The first two were met by a stong seniment of go away (about 9-1 and the 1 was apparently a player co-operaiting in hooking in other players). These both ended fairly shortly when 2 other players informed the casino operators that the had filed GM reports on their abuse of spamming on the channels and excessive yelling in the area. The third time I noticed one happening, it was staying realatively quite off to the north side of that area.
Based on Blizzards usual attitude about most the things like this (ganking exploits from rooftops, etc.); I suspect that the main reason for doing this is the excessive spamming of their operations more so than the potential scamming that was going on.
