I was tossing around the idea of this finally being the guild that I join. I have never been in a guild before, though I've had several invites. But then I see bickering like this, and wonder what's the point? If I really want to find someone online, I don't need a guild to do it, I can find them myself. I'll grant that a guild makes that a little easier, but if this is the kind of hassle that needs to be dealt with, I'm sure that in the end it works out to be easier to just search them down myself. I've watched a friend play WoW a couple of times, and there seems to be a couple of good systems for finding other players of a like mind/level.
