I am no fan if government interference in our lives, but on this one, my sentiments go with the Fish and Game folks: be on site and use your own skills to drop the deer who is having breakfast at the corn feeder, or, go back to shopping for knick knacks in Kerrville and Fredericksburg with your trophy wife.  :P

Heck, I have a lot of friends who hunt. And dropping the deer at the corn feeder is something they scorn too. <_<

There just ain't much skill involved in sitting in your comfortable deer blind, waiting for them to come and eat from the smörgåsbord you have carefully laid out for them. :blink:

The entire point of the expedition is getting outdoors and matching wits with the critters, not getting your 'pleasure' vicariously by sitting in your living room.
