The Incredibles does look funny, but my chance to see it has not appeared yet.
The last movie I saw in a theater was Saw, which was quite good, especially the ending. And it is a bit freaky.
I saw The Whole Nine Yards this past year. It was entertaning, but I didn't laugh much.
Kill Bill I liked. Good action, a good mix of music, and the wacky filming style.
I have not seen the sequel yet.
Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were also nifty.
As to his quirky way of telling the story, I agree, but it's not like that in all of them.
Another seemingly good (and recent) fight flick that I would like to see is Ong-bak.
