A couple of things about Whitemane:
First, there's a cheesy exploit in that after you kill Mograine the first time, you can run into Whitemane's back chamber and fight her there. She'll still sleep you and ressurect Mograine. However, the ressurected Mograine won't have aggro on the group, so only Whitemane returns to the room. Thus, you can fight each of them seperately.
Second, priests can destroy Whitemane. In fact, I used to farm her solo with my lvl 39 undead priestess in the last patch. The keys are to alternate casting Dispel Magic (to get rid of her Holy Shield and Inner Fire) and Mana Burn on her. You can Mana Burn her down in just a few castings. Once she has no mana, she can be picked appart quickly.
