But if they could do all that, when not send another re-programmed T-800 back to help Reese, or the very least some more Human soldiers.
The whole premise of T1 was that Reese was alone with no chance of aid. That would only be possible if the time machine had been destroyed after he travelled through.
Hmmm. That being said, they could have sent the T-800 before Reese went back, but thats really streching things.
Then where does the time travel of the two terminators in T3 fit into this? The T-1000 was the advanced prototype, they wouldn't have had the T-X then...
