Man, you can't appreciate how hard it is to write in pixels until you try it!&nbsp; <_<

Do yourself a favour and check out The GIMP. It's a freeware and open source alternative to Adobe's Photoshop. It's not quite as powerful as Photoshop, but then again it's infinitely less expensive.

Note that there is a steep learning curve when using The GIMP (just as there is when using Photoshop, I suppose). Google-up some GIMP tutorials to help you out.
