Personally, I'd look at the selection of games it has. Specifically, if they have the games that -you- like.
Beside looking at what type of games you like, and looking at a list of what games they have. It might be worthwhile to rent a system from the local video store.
( For my money, it's still the Dreamcast for Soul Calibur and Virtual On. But I'm guessing you're looking at newer console systems. ;) )
