Text messaging invades English schools!

What really makes me want to slit my own throat is the fact that proper, idiomatic grammar is looked down upon. I'm currently studying at a University College, so in school we use a suitable language, but on the norwegian forums I frequent, correct language-use is frowned upon. If you don't write incorrectly on purpose, you're not 'cool'.. This is what really pains me.. that the ones writing wrong are the ones who are 'right'.. .. and should you try and correct someone, you'd be hated for months. I should know.. my forum-title is (translated into English)
