And if you do answer with 'Canadian' you sometimes get a perplexed stare and a follow-up with"'But where are you from?" or "Well, then, where were your parents from?"
I just helped my Grade 2 son with a questionnaire this week about his heritage. He was to list where his parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were from. Lord was he happy when I told him he could fill in the same word for each line! :lol:
