A couple of posts ago someone mentioned a TP-block to prevent people from going down. You set up a TP at the right spot (a bit below the stairs - once you get it right you won't get a "Go down to level X" cursor message anymore) and people are unable to go down stairs, unless they know how to get around it. It's fairly simple, but most cheaters probably lack the brain skills required (i.e. thinking) to find it.
Fortunately, AFAIK no workaround has been posted yet, so the only ones that know how to deal with a TP are people that invest a minute or two into the game - definitely not cheaters. So I think before you ask how it's done, try it for yourself. Begging to know some tricks is very much a newbie/cheater thing.
I've never thought of a TP block before that post, and I immediately went to try it. It worked nicely in a couple of games so far. Some of the cheaters threatened to kill me if I didn't move the TP. :) There's nothing better than getting them back. And once they leave the game, you have your town access back.
