well I checked the bug list for some weirdness that happened in a game yesterday.
I might have been looking for it in the wrong part of the list though. If I did I apologize.
I found disappearing items but I was looking for the opposit ...
Ever been in a situation where items appear in town that none of the players present there have dropped?
I'm not talking about duped items here. That happened to me too: you throw one ring on the ground and abracadabra you got two. Magic
The items I am referrring too were very close to the tp spot and they were not dropped by me or by my partner. Looked as if a third person had dropped them while we were down in the dungeon. Neither of us did see that mysterious third person though.
Is this some ugly hack I dunno about? Or just coincidence?
I have been in games where three people join and they can't see eachother before. Figured it was desynch or something. I was "where is he?" and the other guy replied "he is standing right next to you ! " oops I must have gone blind ;-)
the difference with the situation yesterday is that the other time we were expexting company ...
So I guess what I am asking here is whether it is possible to create the "you can't see me but I'm there" situation deliberately ...
