Experiencing a bug here -- would appreciate some input.
I found a Bloodslayer (unique axe) in single player Diablo (using GOG Galaxy to play the game full screen), and have saved the game I'm in (with Bloodslayer present and ID'ed). Every
time I reload this game, the Bloodslayer appears and is stable and can be used.
Yet whenever I try to create a new game with this character, the Bloodslayer morphs into a Stonecleaver (both in attributes and appearance)!
I had hoped to run some particular tests with the Bloodslayer, but cannot in the game I'm presently in (long story). But every time I try to create/start a new game . . . Stonecleaver!
Is there some workaround that I can use that allow this character to start a new game and NOT "lose" this particular inventory item?
