I’m thinking this is along the lines of PTED. He gathered all the weapons, ammo, and converted the guns to full auto as part of his revenge fantasy. Eventually, if not stopped, the slightest push sends them off to fully execute it. They usually have a focal point to their hatred. Maybe his actually was rednecks.
