As usual, I'm out of the loop on cool new toys. The newest SourceForge newsletter clued me in to programs for modeling soft-body physics (car crashes, etc.). I'd never have the patience to do the modeling myself but apparently there is a community of folks creating them and posting videos. The program in the newsletter is Rigs of Rods and it's successor appears to be CryEngine 3. Take a look, cool beans.
