I was somewhat burned out anyway, but the fact that many universities have hiring freezes made me think all the more so academia isn't for me. I never really wanted to do industry work, but those jobs are getting scarcer anyway. So off to law school for me. Hide my head in the sand for 3 years and hopefully when I come out the economy will have improved.
