I agree, that's a Warlock that needs to be slapped upside the head. I've pulled aggro plenty just with Immolate/Incinerate spam, I can just imagine how much worse it would be spamming Searing Pain. IMO, Searing Pain has two uses...for tanking mobs that should be tanked by a caster like Vek'lor or in PvP (there's not much use for it in a solo in a mode where you're taking the hits as you want to use a bigger hitting spell to get the mob down sooner when solo).
