+hit is still pretty useful if your specials don't miss. +2.4 hit and +0.4crit is something like a 2% damage increase for 2 points. This seems in line with what it should be.
You always seem disappointed by ~1% damage increase per point, but this is pretty close to what it is for most of the DPS adder talents.
