Thank you for that. You've done a great job of pointing out that the D&D alignment system is too simple, that evil does not see itself as evil, and that those tests are totally meaningless. I agree on all three counts. Someday we'll have to start a thread and discuss how an alignment system could be done right for a game. Or if it can be done at all.
