You probably won't find a lot of people playing either V&K mod, unfortunately. Just trying to get enough people together to play classic Diablo can be a bit of a struggle these days.
The most likely mods still being played in numbers are probably Hellfire: The Dark and Diablo: The Rebirth. The latter is still in development so changes may still occur with it.
