Hmm... a real bastard would write a mod that tells the RL what he wants to hear:) Res monitor is nifty, but only shaves a min or two off wipes. Probably not worth it. The MT targets and targets targets are what makes CTRA necessary. For that matter, Target's Target is part of the base CT mod (unless they snuck that into the basic ui when i wasn't paying attention) and I have a hard time imagining a 5 man without that now. Its just so handy to see the mob breaking for the heal/range pack and be able to start a heal (or hit fade) before it even gets to the pack.
