Lagaim is very close to D2 in terms of gameplay. You click on things and they die. Sometimes they drop stuff. You get experience and cash.

Laghaim is a Thai-based MMORPG, but they have issued an english client. It's in beta, and it's free (for now).

They named the game "Laghaim." That aint far from Lagheim, whihc would be Norse for home of lag.

Do you really want to play an online game named for the lag monster? And, in Thai, doesn't "haim" mean "monster?" :D

I think the name is a joke. At least, I hope so.

In the little time I've played around with it, it doesn't seem at all laggy.
