Ok I have wolfhowl and I looked up the dire wolf stats on A.S. They look to be ok meat shields for my throw barb. Can I enhance them with my B.O. and Shout?

Ok now this brings up additional questions. Are my defensive merc's defiance aura and my shout defense bonus additive or multiplicative? Is the % increase in life from my BO added to the +400% from the wolf's own passive bonus? So that I would get 400% + 68% = 468% of wolf's base life (114) or 648 life. Or (hope hope) would the wolfs life be multiplied by an additional 68% after the +400% passive wolf bonus or 958.

I know that Defiance adds with Shout, but I've got no idea for the wolves.
