Can anyone help me convert Diablo I v1.9 multiplayer to Hellfire multiplayer? None of the tools I've found online support the new Diablo file names created after v1.8.

It sounds like you're trying to convert D1 v1.09 savegames to Hellfire savegames. I don't know of any method of doing that. But your D1 v1.09 items would morph into useless junk even if you did, so just make new Hellfire characters. Low level characters are all kinds of fun.
