Great minds get me to 146 dex and 100 str in items - ClassicM - 11-28-2004
OK I joined expansion recently and I am on ladder now. Hammeradin 87lvl and a struggling ranger / smiter to be.
I need some good combo suggestions on what to use to get max + dex and a little bit + str while maximizing cold/ lightning resistance.
Here are the rules
I can obtain this only with a
Helm?
Armor?
Belt?
Gloves?
Boots?
2 x rings where one has 7ll/13dex/ and some resistance
amy?
I need 146 dex - currently have about 75!!!!!! without items and 91 with items.
Need a lot of resist - loads - anything goes.
Using Ilkâs combo Gloves/boots or belt would solve some stats problems but what about resist? What other options would I have?
What is max resist from amy or a ring that I would expect?
Letâs put some great minds together, so I can start looking for items.

What type of char is this for? Because 71 dex in items may be giving up an awful lot

Here are some findings so far:
Nats Helm +
Defense: 195-300(varies) (Base Defense: 60-125)
Required Level: 59
Required Strength: 58
Durability: 40
+135-175 Defense (varies)
All Resistances +10-20 (varies)
+20-30 To Dexterity (varies)
+10-20 To Strength (varies)
Magic Damage Reduced By 3
Nats Boots:
Defense: 112-169 (varies)(Base Defense: 37-44)
Required Level: 25
Required Strength: 65
Durability: 66
Assassin Kick Damage: 23-52
+75-125 Defense (varies)
+40% Faster Run/Walk
Heal Stamina Plus (0.25 Per Character Level) 0-24% (Based On Character Level)
Cold Resist +15-25% (varies)
Lightning Resist +15-25% (varies)
Partial bonus is -15 magic dmg - which is good.
So in the worst case scenarioa I would gain:
15%CR, LR +10 All Resist from helm = 25 resist - 35 resist
40% FRW
20 dex+ -30 dex+
with
10-20 str - for two items not bad.
If on top of that we include IK's
Gloves:
Defense: 108-118 (varies)(Base Defense: 43-53)
Defense: 228-238 (varies)(Base Defense: 43-53)
Required Level: 30
Required Strength: 110
Durability: 24
+65 Defense
12% Chance To Cast Level 4 Charged Bolt When Struck
+20 To Dexterity
+20 To Strength
+25% Increased Attack Speed (2 items)
and IK's belt
Defense: 89 (Base Defense: 41-52)
Defense: 194 (Base Defense: 41-52)
Defense: 247 (Base Defense 41-52)
Required Level: 29
Required Strength: 110
Durability: 24
16 boxes
+36 Defense
Lightning Resist +31%
Fire Resist +28%
+25 To Strength
+105 Defense (2 items)
then from IK's set we are looking at:
25% IAS
31% LR,
28% FR,
45 + to str
20 dex.
This brings us to:
56% LR - 66%LR
38% FR
25%-35% CR
55-65 str
40-50 dex
40% FRW
25% IAS
some dmg reduced and defense rating increased
available
1 ring
1 amu
+
armor.
Let me hear suggestions - dont forget the FHR.
