A HUGE thank you for last night. - Hillary - 06-02-2005 Last night reminded me that there are fun times still to be had with Grizelle, and I wanted to thank everyone there. Carpe Aurum and Lurkers joined forces (the likes of which had never been seen! - Tenacious D) to get people squared away with their BRD escort quests. I can say my group had a blast. The other group seems to have had a good time, too, though I can't really say for sure. *grins* But the REAL fun happened afterwards when we all went to Stormwind and zerged the hell out of Masquerade in raid. Yes you can still let Windsor do it himself, but where's the fun in that? We went in with 6 or 7 mages and a warlock, 2 priests fearing, a bunch of dps and heavy hitters, and BAM. Masquerade done in about 2 minutes or less. My gawd it was a BLAST Our dessert was heading up to Winterspring to get the next step in the chain done. Dragon zerg for the win! Again, a blast. So to: Darian, Arethor, Alrin, NSD, Sabra, GG, Tal, Midori, Onan, Kapowee, Arleas, Mishian, Lissa, Ramala, Psybie, Rylea, and any others I may have forgotten because I haven't had any coffee today . . . A HUGE THANK YOU! :w00t: We simply have to do more stuff like that. A HUGE thank you for last night. - Tal - 06-02-2005 Hillary,Jun 2 2005, 12:56 PM Wrote:A HUGE THANK YOU! Welcome. :) A HUGE thank you for last night. - Kevin - 06-02-2005 It was fun. We did it in Raid back when Gnolack was L37. I was so proud then of landing a few hits (for 1 to 2 points of damage) and my two concussion blows. This time it was fun to just wade in and smack away, taunt them off a few of the squishiers, stun em, rip down their armor. I also got a big kick out of the fact that Darian and I ended up side by side walking in front of the rest of the raid on the way in. The crazy gnome had fun. We'll get a chance to do it again as I'm ready for but haven't done jailbreak yet. :) A HUGE thank you for last night. - Hillary - 06-02-2005 Gnollguy,Jun 2 2005, 02:10 PM Wrote:It was fun. You guys looked so great up there. It was amusing, though. Bad ass Darian with this STRUTTING gnome at his side. And yes, GG struts. It's so funny. A HUGE thank you for last night. - Mirajj - 06-02-2005 Gnollguy,Jun 2 2005, 01:10 PM Wrote:We'll get a chance to do it again as I'm ready for but haven't done jailbreak yet. :) That's the part that I'm at right now, too. It's gonna be fun to be a part of the Masquerade step, instead of just always watching it happen. A HUGE thank you for last night. - LochnarITB - 06-02-2005 It was a joy, but also embarrassing and disappointing. I rarely walk Lochnar. I always get a giggle when I watch it. As Hillary noted, it is funny to see such a little guy strutting along. It was made even more enjoyable to see him strutting along surrounded by so many big guys, all moving as one, escorting Windsor to do what needed to be done. It was also great to see what such a group did to the elite dragons in the cave. I was lucky to get off one snowball before a beast was down. On singles, I went to arcane missiles just so I could get some damage in. It was a joy. I must have had my "kick me" sign on my back again, though. I was the only one to die in SW. I hadn't even gone inside the actual chamber. I was just outside, in the hall. I don't know that I had actually even hit anything yet. All of the sudden, all the guards were in a giant fur ball right on top of me. My life bar went from full to empty in one tick. Also, when we were outside the dragon cave, I was suddenly being hit by frostbolts from the whelps, who were on the other side of other toons. They had again decided I was the one to pick on. To be the only death in SW was embarrassing. Then, we finally got to the lady on the mountain. I had bent over, doing my best gnome football impression and was waiting for the punt heard round the world. It didn't happen and I was instead told that I had to go to UBRS (Lochnar bane indeed) to get some blood to create my amulet. It was disappointing. As hard as it is for me to not do things solo, most of my play last night was grouped. The people I played with made it enjoyable. I helped kill Teremus in Blasted Lands. I played target dummy in the escort and follow up. I helped fellow Lurkers in BFD. Good times can be had in groups with good people. Thanks all! |
