Seriously its not hygenic(oral sex on the other hand is fairly safe.) And our bodies clearly did not evolve( or "were not created") for it.

If no one in the US had anal intercourse AIDs would pretty much vanish from our country.
Yes women can catch it from men but its fairly hard for men to catch it from women. So over time it would largly go away.


Now I am not saying this would solve the AIDs issue in Africa and India where curable VDs often go untreated and greatly increase the chances of transmission. In third would countries eliminating prostitution and basic medical are vitally need I know.



BTW: Im not saying we shouldnt feel bad for AIDs vitems in the US/Europe at all. But we are playing the "Emperor has no clothes" game IMO.

I completely disagree. You are making a massive oversimplification of the issue by stating that if anal sex stopped, then AIDS woud die out. How can you discount transmission through oral sex (which isn't safe at all despite what you stated), blood, and needles? Babies of HIV-infected mothers also have a 25% chance of being born infeted as well, further perpetuating the disease. Also, HIV *can* be passed from female to male through regular sexual intercourse, so you cannot discount that either (reduced chance or not).

Having sex with several people, needles, blood transfusions (before tests were found), all these add to the spread, the first one probaby much more than others.

Relative to anal sex oral and female->male transmission are rather minute. Although you may have a point that people with truely huge numbers of partners could still be the ods and keep it active.

As for the arguement of babies perpetuating the disease - we need to re-evaluate the "protections" given AIDs victems. Why is a supposed to be a secret that people have a deadly contagious disease?

The first one is obvious. You cant transmit a VD when everyone is manogomous.

But if you take anal sex out of the mix several would need to be replaced with "huge number" in order to have a massive epidemic.

Cutting down the partners by a lot, not even exactly 1, would reduce the virus far more than different kinds of sex would.

Thats probably true - but people see it as a "moral" issue so its dismissed. Plus there is a slippery slope as to how many partners is too many.

But butt sex is just not hygenic.

While there is a bit of Emperor and clothes involved, your baseline assertion is False.

You are about 20 years too late.

The genii is out of the bottle. Now that the "homosexual path of transmission" (if it ever was solely that) has through the magic of bisexual activity been expanded, the heterosexual transmission path has been well opened in the orifices opened to such activity.

The last I read, oral sex was the least risky of the three major orifices (orifi ?) insofar as odds of transmission, but then, how does one consider open sores, cold sores, and other close to the surface blood vessels? Nasal sex? Close to the surface blood vessels.

Wrap the rascal. That's the high payoff approach to minimizing transmission if one must needs be multi partner, homo, hetero, bi, animal, etcetera.

Be monogamous even better. Get a blood test and be monogamous even better than better.

I agree that anal penetration is a counterintuitive method of intercourse, based on body functional design, but that won't stop people from doing it or trying it out. Let's give some thanks in particular to Howard Stern and the porn industry for their twenty year campaign to heighten awareness of anal sex. ALso the growing convict population in our prisons, who seem to have been given license to ass rape one another by an uncaring public. Honorable mention must go to Playboy magazine since about 1965 for covering it, techniques and tips, in the letters and advice columns.
