Sound Problem - Zarathustra - 03-12-2006
Is there a way to disable environmental sound in WoW? I've scoured the config files and the audio settings to no avail.
I'm not talking about ambient sound in the world. I'm setting up a new rig and for some reason there's an echo/cave effect indoors. It doesn't matter if it's Ironforge or Blackrock Spire, the same "cavern" type effect is applied to all sounds, which is both annoying to me and a big change from what I'm used to.
It's onboard sound and I've yet to find any audio settings to disable this in the system settings. Any ideas?

I had that problem with my onboard sound. If I ran TS at the same time as WoW while in Molten Core, it had a cavern reverb. I updated the drivers and haven't had the issue since.
