Infamous Lasting Words - Occhidiangela - 04-04-2006

William Shakespeare, in his play The Merry Wives of Windsor, predicted Internet discussion after the Endless September:

"Here will be an old abusing of God's Patience and the Kings' English."

What famous saying, or quote, or movie line can you turn into "prediction after the fact!"

Another example:

Winston Churchill predicted America's contemporary credit card addiction when he said:

"Never have so many, owed so much, to so few."

Try your hand. :whistling:

Infamous Lasting Words - Rhydderch Hael - 04-04-2006

"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."— Winston Churchill, coming back from a time travel expedition from the future where he saw The Fellowship of the Ring.

"In a modest way I have combated evil, but to take on the Father of Evil himself would, perhaps, be too ambitious a task."
—Sherlock Holmes, on why he isn't a Diablo player. But you should really see how good he is at Fight Night 3.
