Patch 1.10.1 - nobbie - 04-11-2006

Is the ugly "border" around the graphics of the Warlock's pet skill bars fixed (a.k.a. running WoW 1.10.0 in DEBUG mode on the live servers ;))?

Patch 1.10.1 - Quark - 04-11-2006

Edit: <don't post in anger>

I just love these.

I can see it in my imagination: "Hmm... let's try to create a guild tabard while I'm still wearing the gordok ogre suit...." :D

Patch 1.10.1 - Thenryb - 04-11-2006

Well, patch or not, and notwithstanding "maintenance", I cannot connect. It would appear that fixing log in server remains a low priority.

Fixed a bug with the bug :D

Patch 1.10.1 - Quark - 04-12-2006

Rogue Rumors:

Relentless Strikes fixed. You will now gain the energy even if you had full energy before using your special.
Seal Fate broken. When using Backstab, you only get one combo point.
Blade Flurry broken. When using Backstab, Blade Flurry will not hit the target.

Just can't get a break. We need a minor patch that only focuses on all the Rogue stuff Blizzard has broken since 1.10.

Oh, as a side note, Drysc Confirmed that Vanish was broken in 1.10, and that Blizzard can reproduce the bug.

Omg, this change makes the fight so easy now. You see, the Prophet's arcane explosion has a one second cast time, which normally isn't long enough to interrupt the attack. However, if you have mind numbing poison or curse of tongues on the prophet and his spawns, then it's very easy for a rogue to kick silence or a mage to counter spell him/her/it. Even though we've killed the prophet several times now, it has always an adventure with at least half the raid dying in the process. Last night, we had only three people die, and the fight was very straightforward.

Also, the fight with Lord Skri and his family seemed much easier. He didn't seem to spit his poison nearly as often as before.

Reports are also that the mage talent Ignite is 1) not always happening on a crit, as it's supposed to; 2) igniting the mage who casts the crit fire spell instead of the target.

Patch 1.10.1 - Artega - 04-12-2006

Nice to know that apparently QA testing their patches is a little too much for Blizzard. Kalimdor was intermittently down for several hours on every server after the patch, though it seemed to stabilize around 10 PM Central.

Patches - 2
Blizzard - 0

Funnily enough, the Kalimdor instability helped us. When I logged on, our guild at first went to Kargath to run BWL, because Kalimdor kept crashing. But then we noticed that every other guild, both Horde and Alliance, thought of the same idea. So when we saw that Kalimdor had been stable for almost 10 whole minutes, we quickly hearthed or got summoned to Silithus and ran into AQ40. Kalimdor stayed stable and with the instance server hosting AQ nearly empty of other guilds, we had the most beautiful lag-free run we've ever had -- clearing all the way through Huhuron in one evening. Meanwhile, reports from the other guilds on the server were that they were seeing the worst lag in BWL they'd ever seen.

I went and grinded Nethergarde Miners in Blasted Lands, bitching constantly about their poor loot tables compared to the pirates in Tanaris; I wanted another Gut Ripper to pawn off for 200g, not some pansy imperfect draenethyst shard :)
