So i've been running End Time a whole lot - DeeBye - 12-27-2011
I really wanted a pair of Axe of the Tauren Chieftains for my fury warrior because the stats are itemized perfectly. I've run random HoT heroics pretty much non-stop for the past 2 weeks. I got one fairly early on, but that second one was a bastard to get. It only drops from Baine, and he's a random boss.
Today I finally got the perfect storm. Zoned into End Time, Obsidian Dragonshrine was up, killed Baine, he dropped the axe, I won it. I was very happy. Yay! Finally a pair of axes! I really wanted a matching pair of those axes and they were mine at last!
Right after that I checked out LFR (literally within minutes) and zoned into a Madness of Deathwing kill. I walked out with a Gurthalak, Voice of the Deeps, rendering all those End Time runs a huge waste of time. The wow gods are fickle and have a great sense of humour.
