Does the thorns aura reflect the physical damage part of Diablo's lightning hose if my Paladin is standing right next to him when Diablo casts it?

Although that would be a rather sweet form of payback, it doesn't work that way

Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I just though that because when I stood right next to an archer, thorns would reflect the damage it did even though its a ranged attack and I was hoping that it might be the same for Diablo's attack.
