Just out of curiosity, do people still make mods for this game? Is there a site where such people might hang out? Or is that a dead breed of people by now?

I am making a mod but its not that good yet it stinks infact there has been a new mod for hell fire. but you could try the dark forum but thats offline at the moment i think. http:/www.lurkerlounge.com/diablo/mods You can get to the dark forum from there. :rolleyes:

Certainly, there are modders left :).
At the moment we are working on The Dark 5.0, but this is for Hellfire. Someone named OmleTTooos is working on a Diablo mod. And ofcourse we have Lemming here with Hellfire:Fixed.
Unfortunately our forum is down due to hardware problems, as Hell-Bringer mentioned.
