I'm first time in here...eyes run out when they see lots of articles...tell me one thing-where can I find guides on skills and stats for D2 Classic characters

Standard Cookie Cutter builds? Diabloii.net has quite a collection. The Amazon Basin has excellent guides as well. For pre LoD, check out BrianDNA's Javazon Guide and the Speedazon Guide.

Caveat: He suggests a couple of builds that will work either in D2 or in Lord of Destruction, and most of the points he makes in re Hardcore a pretty good. However, the Guide is in fact based on Lord of Destruction, so for Classic Diablo II, take the discussions of Act V and the Treasure Hunting with a grain of salt.
